As the business continues to grow they are now seeking to recruit an Accounts and Business Advisor to join their ever growing team in York.
The position is full time over a 37.5 hour week.

SUMMARY OF ROLE:
As Accounts & Business Advisor and as part of your own personal and professional growth as a newly qualified, you will be working towards producing more complex annual statutory accounts for clients.
You will also have the opportunity to provide support to your clients from an accounting perspective whilst working with colleagues less senior than you, as a mentor, assisting them with day to day questions and queries and guiding them through their journey to a more senior status.
You will continue to develop your advisory skills, offering advice on best practice and recommendations for partner review. You will begin taking ownership of your own portfolio with support from your manager. You will be provided support in delivering revenue and profitability targets and begin developing strong client relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working both autonomously and as part of a team your day to day duties as Accounts & Business Advisor will include the following:
Support and mentor junior members of staffEnsure high levels of communication are maintained with staff, line managers and clientsComplete your own chargeable time budgetBeing aware of expected utilisation % budgets and working towards delivering thisCareful narration of your timesheet, capturing accurate analysis of work undertakenEnsure that all the hours worked are recorded on your timesheetStart the fee process
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Your journey will continue via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development such as more effective client management and also steps towards staff management
