Full-Time, Office-Based - Yeovil

Up to £40,000

We're looking for a friendly and organised Accountant to join a small finance team in Yeovil on a full-time permanent basis.

Key responsibilities:
- All aspects of Credit Control (B2C): chasing overdue payments, agreeing payment terms & plans, initiating legal actions where necessary
- Assist with budgeting for various aspects of the business
- Tax planning

What we're looking for:
- AAT qualified, part-qualified (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) or qualified-by-experience
- Good Excel skills (pivot tables and lookups)
- Management Accounting & Credit Control experience incl. payment plans

- Salary up to £40,000 DOE

Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take the lead in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Manager to join a well-established business near Yeovil, playing a key role in driving the people agenda on site.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll manage the day-to-day HR function while supporting long-term business goals through effective people strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic, high-performing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all on-site HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and policy implementationUndertake all aspects of RecruitmentProvide expert guidance and support to line managers across the full employee lifecycleMonitoring attendance, sickness & general employee performance Lead HR initiatives focused on engagement, retention, and continuous improvementSupport health and wellbeing programmes, learning & development, and succession planningEnsure HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislationPreparation of weekly payrollsMaintain accurate HR records and reporting using the company's HR systems

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial settingStrong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practicesConfident communicator with the ability to influence and build trust at all levelsSolution-focused, with a practical approach and a willingness to get stuck inCIPD Level 5 - CIPD Level 7 preferred

Assistant Accountant with Payroll

Part-time, Yeovil

Up to £36,000 FTE

We're currently recruiting for a part-time Assistant Accountant to join a Yeovil-based organisation on a part-time basis (28 hours). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong payroll experience who also enjoys Month-end reporting and project work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Finance Manager with all aspects of the finance function, including management accounts and payroll processing.
- Maintaining financial records using SAGE 50
- Overseeing payroll tasks such as expenses management, pension contributions and new staff processing.
- Project-related work towards bringing the payroll function in-house

Qualifications:
- AAT Qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience in both Payroll & month-end reporting highly advantageous though experience in one or the other will also be considered
- Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, LOOKUPs)
