We are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established firm of accountants based in the vibrant Paddington area of Central London that are eager to recruit an experience and qualified mix accounts and audit (50/50 split) professional in the capacity of Senior to complement the existing team.
Role Requirements -
The role is hands on and involves carrying out audit work (with help where required) from planning through to completion and the preparation of non-audit accounts given the client's computerised records. The position will also include corporate and personal tax compliance and the partners are happy to train the candidate to deal with these aspects of the work if necessary.
The portfolio is extremely varied and interesting as the firm do not specialise in any business sector. The clients range from being regulated (Investment Managers and Advisers) to high profile restaurants to travel companies and professional services (i.e. dentists, doctors , solicitors).
Whilst most of their clients are SME/owner managed businesses, they do have a number that are subsidiaries of large overseas groups.
Person Requirements -
Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified (or part qualified - support can be given) coming from a small to medium size practice and have at least 5 years' experience at a good quality UK based firm.
Proficiency in the use of IRIS software is ideal along with My Workpapers, XERO, Quickbooks and Sage products.
