Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a friendly and long-established independent accountancy practice in the recruitment of a Client Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on practice professional to manage their own portfolio while working within a close-knit team environment. The role would suit either an experienced Client Manager or a Senior Accountant who can hit the ground running and is looking to take on a diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a client portfolio, primarily sole traders and limited companies, OMBs and SMEsPrepare and review accounts, personal tax returns, VAT, CIS, bookkeeping, and MTD requirementsAct as the main point of contact for clients, building strong long-term relationshipsSupport onboarding of new clients and oversee client billingManage and support a small team of junior staffWork across cloud-based accounting software platforms

Key Requirements

ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE Strong experience within an accountancy practice environmentConfident managing client relationships and onboarding new clientsExperience across accounts, personal tax, VAT, bookkeeping, and CISKnowledge cloud accounting systemsOrganised, approachable, and hands-on in your working styleComfortable managing and mentoring junior staffExcellent client-facing skills and communication
