Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting an award-winning firm in their search for a Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior. In this role, you will work closely with Managers, Partners, and clients across a diverse portfolio of audit engagements. Your responsibilities will also extend to supporting accounts preparation and corporation tax assignments, offering a well-rounded and varied workload.

Role Requirements -

Taking the lead on large company, groups and SME audits, including managing the audit team and being primary contact for clients.Attending client sites as required for audit engagements, planning and completion meetings.Preparation of accounts and corporation tax computations, direct to managers or partners.Liaising with clients, colleagues and third parties developing these relationshipsEnsuring all deadlines are met, compliance is adhered to, and clients are kept informed.Supervise and develop trainees as well as support junior members of the team.To provide career development mentor responsibilities to junior members of the team e.g., graduate students to assist in all round development.Attending networking and business development opportunities.Encourage equality and diversity amongst teams.

ButlerRose is delighted to be supporting one of our clients who's got a great opportunity for a Mixed Tax Semi Senior/Senior to join their them. The role will give you the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients and has flexible hours and the opportunity to work up to 3 Days from home.

Role Requirements -

Looking after a personal tax client portfolio of around 330 clients. This would involve preparing the personal tax returns and assisting with client queries and advice. They will have control of their client portfolio with input from the other seniors, manager and partner at busy times.Contacting HMRC to change tax codes, chase refunds, other ad hoc queries, etc.Reviewing corporation tax returns.Helping prepare P11Ds.Attending client meetings or phone calls with clients to go through their tax return and help with any queries they have.Preparing and submitting Capital Gains Tax returns.Registering Trusts on the Trust Registration Service.

Personal Requirements-

ATT, CTA Qualified or Qualified by ExperiencePersonal Tax Experience EssentialClear written and oral communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts succinctly and accurately.Problem-solving abilities in order that you can deal with client queries and issues and satisfactorily resolve them, escalating queries where required.Ability to work productively under pressure and to very tight deadlines.Very organised, understands importance of responsiveness to clients, happy to stay behind and ensure tight deadlines are met.Self-confident, personable, and proactive, with the drive and ambition to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and the team.Attention to detail, ensuring that all work prepared is to a high standard.Candidate will be adaptable to change and will thrive on working autonomously. They will be ambitious and willing to prove themselves.

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting one of our clients who's got an opportunity for a Private Client Tax Senior to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide personal, trust and estate tax compliance and associated advisory services to a mix of clients. You will also provide assistance to the Senior Manager/Director/Partners in both compliance and advisory client work.

Role Requirements -

Main point of contact for clients to obtain relevant facts to process the client file.Preparation of and reviewing personal self-assessment tax returns and claims for HNW individuals, trusts and estates. (Preparation will be mainly for more complex returns and reviewing will be mainly for more basic returns).Preparation and submission of Capital Gains Tax / Income / Inheritance tax reporting forms.Dealing with HMRC enquiries, penalty notices etc.Liaising with clients and building and maintaining relationships.Advising on day to day tax queries from clients.Supporting more senior staff in the Private Client Tax department with tax planning, including preparing IHT/CGT computations, wealth schedules and packs for advisory meetings.Supporting more senior staff in the Private Client Tax department with processes and efficiencies.Coach and mentor junior members of the team to ensure compliance and service delivery.Encourage equality and diversity amongst teams.
