Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be working with an independent accountancy firm in Stevenage in their search for an Accounts Manager/SM to join their team. You will take ownership of a significant client portfolio and play a key role in the delivery of services across accounts, tax and advisory.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, ambitious individual who enjoys managing client relationships, leading teams and being part of a supportive environment which values work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of a client portfolioReviewing statutory accounts prepared under FRS 102/105Overseeing and reviewing corporation tax, personal tax and VAT returnsProviding advisory support including tax planning and business consultancyLine managing and mentoring junior and mid-level staffSupporting partners with department development and workflow managementAttending client meetings and building long-term relationships
