A modern, friendly and supportive firm of accountants is seeking a Semi Senior or Senior Payroll Processor to join their growing team.
Role Responsibilities
End to end payroll processing: collect hours, calculate pay, deductions (PAYE, NI, pensions) and initiate BACS transfers.Maintain and reconcile payroll records, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.Support payroll software: data entry, system updates, reporting (payslips, P60/P45/P11D).Respond to payroll queries from employees, HMRC and other stakeholders.Undertake regular payroll audits and proactively resolve discrepancies.Personal Requirements
Proven payroll experience.Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NI, Auto?enrolment pensions).High numeracy, attention to detail, and integrity in handling sensitive data.Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g. Sage, Iris, Xero Payroll) and MS Excel.Excellent communication, customer service approach, and ability to meet deadlines.Benefits

Role Responsibilities
Prepare and review reports for Research and Development tax credits, capital allowances, share schemes, due diligence and corporate restructuring.Provide feedback and technical input on reports drafted by colleagues.Oversee billing cycles to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.Support the growth and development of team members through performance reviews and goal setting.Act as the primary contact for clients on a daily basis, identifying problems and providing solutions.Ensure Client Relationship Managers are well informed and receive regular updates on project progress.Personal Requirements
