We are delighted to be partnering with a national industrial & defence services client to recruit a Divisional HR Advisor for the South Region. As Regional HR Advisor, you will take ownership of a broad generalist remit, with a particular focus on employee relations case management, employee engagement initiatives, and coaching managers to confidently handle HR matters.
Operating within a matrix HR model, you'll work closely with site directors and managers, providing practical HR advice while also driving consistency across the organisation. With regular expensed travel across 3 sites in the South of England, you'll be a visible and approachable presence, building strong relationships and ensuring HR is aligned with the company's values.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage a varied employee relations caseload, ensuring timely and effective resolution.Advise and support managers on all HR and employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance.Attend and provide support at investigations and hearings, including minute-taking.Partner with managers through coaching and upskilling to build HR capability across the business.Lead and support employee engagement activities to drive a positive and inclusive culture.Collaborate within a matrix HR model, working as part of a wider HR team to deliver consistent best practice.Foster strong, respectful relationships with colleagues at all levels, working in line with the company's values.Provide regular on-site HR support, requiring frequent travel across 3 sites (South).About YouWe're seeking a confident and proactive HR professional with:
Strong experience of case management and advising managers in a busy industrial or manufacturing environment.A background in supporting employee engagement and organisational culture initiatives.Excellent coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.Flexibility to travel to their 3 sites in the south region as required, overnight stays will be required on a monthly basis.You'll play a key role in shaping employee experience, embedding values, and ensuring best practice HR is delivered consistently across multiple sites.
