Mixed Tax Manager - Growing Firm of Chartered Accountants

Butler Rose is partnering with a friendly well-established, accountancy practice to recruit a Mixed Tax Manager to join their team, supporting a diverse portfolio of private clients and corporate tax clients across multiple sectors.

This is an excellent position of a qualified Tax Professional already in a managerial role and looking to maintain a diverse client portfolio and tax exposure. Well-suited to someone who enjoys having autonomy of the tax offering and looking to assist with growing a company's tax service line.

Key Responsibilities

Manager client portfolio of 200 personal tax clients as well as handling portfolio of corporate tax clients on a project basis.Oversee the personal tax compliance process, including drafting and reviewing Self-Assessment tax returns.Provide tailored personal tax planning advice on areas such as income structuring, capital gains, inheritance tax, and residency matters.Oversee corporate tax compliance and advisory necessary for projects.Work collaboratively with colleagues in other departments to deliver joined-up, comprehensive client solutions.Develop and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and key point of contact.Guide and mentor junior team members, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and professional growth.

Requirements

CTA (Ideal) or ACA, ACCA qualification.5+ years' experience in personal tax advisory and compliance work.Solid technical understanding of UK personal tax legislation.Sound experience in UK corporate taxStrong communication skills and proven ability to manage client relationships.Capable of handling multiple deadlines and prioritising work effectively.Software used (beneficial): TaxCalc, Carbon
