The Opportunity:
On behalf of our client we are delighted to to be working with a friendly and progressive firm who due to continued expansion are seeking to appoint an experienced and capable Payroll Administrator to work out of their office in Goole
The Role:
You will work as part of a dynamic team dealing with both small and high volume payrolls at multiple intervals, dealing with payroll queries and ensuring payroll deadlines are achieved on a weekly and monthly basis, providing a seamless payroll service from start to finish.
With strong communication skills you will be adept at building strong relationships in this varied role and passionate about all things payroll! Full system payroll system training can be provided together with support from the Payroll Manager and team colleagues. opportunities!
Duties:
Full end to end processing weekly/monthly payrolls, auto enrolment pensions
Responsible for working as part of a team delivering accurate/compliant payroll services on time, undertaking manual calculations
Liaison with the HMRC
Dealing with various pension providers, Nest etc
BACS submission, PAYE, CIS (training on CIS can be provided)
Processing holiday pay, SMP/SSP
Keeping up to date with current payroll legislation ensuring the highest standards.
Experience:
Solid expertise in Payroll and auto-enrolment pension procedures/legislation with proven experience working in busy high volume inhouse payroll departments or bureau environments, capable of running both small and volume employee payrolls.
Strong and effective communication skills - both written and verbal to deal with queries in a professional and effective manner
Strong attention to detail, solid organisational skills
Able to remain calm under pressure/deadlines.
Calculation of statutory payments, manual calculations, sending BACS payments, starters/leavers, P45/P46s/P60s
Possess a friendly _can do_ attitude, keen to develop your payroll skills and career to the next level.
Requirements:
1-2yrs previous payroll processing experience
Auto Enrolment pensions, benefits knowledge
Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills
Able to work as an key member of the payroll team
