What you'll be doing in your new role as an Accounts Assistant…
Supporting a busy finance function in a really varied role covering all elements of transactional accountingProcessing supplier invoices accurately, resolving queries and preparing payment runsRaising customer sales invoices to help keep cash flow processing smoothlyReconciling credit card payments, staff expenses and petty cashInputting data for payroll to ensure everyone is paid on timeWho we're looking for…
Someone who loves a varied role in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change! You'll have a real eye for detail when it comes to handling numerical data and a confident approach to communicating with others within your team. Given the need to hit the ground running, we'd ideally look for someone with experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger Clerk, and experience using Sage would be a benefit. This isn't a role with immediate progression, so would be better suited to someone who is happy to stay at a transactional level.
