Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager for a successful and growing property business in Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or qualified-by-experience finance professional who enjoys working in a hands-on role, partnering with operational teams and playing a key part in the continued success of the business.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will take ownership of the finance function across multiple entities, providing accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting the wider business with insightful financial information.

Key Responsibilities

Production of monthly management accounts across multiple entities.Preparation of profit & loss, balance sheet and WIP reporting.Management of VAT and CIS returns.Oversight of supplier and subcontractor payments.Management of treasury activities, bank reconciliations and internal funding movements.Maintaining financial records and ensuring strong financial controls.Supporting year-end processes and liaising with external accountants.Managing and developing members of the finance team.Maintaining and optimising ERP and accounting systems.Playing an active role within the wider business, supporting operational decision-making.

About You

Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience.Previous experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role.Construction, property, housing or similar sector experience would be advantageous.Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills.Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.Confident working autonomously and managing competing priorities.Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of COINS and/or Xero would be beneficial.

Butler Rose is exclusively partnering with a high-growth business to recruit a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join its senior finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, cashflow forecasting, KPI reporting, and commercial analysis. Working closely with the Executive Team and Board, you'll provide the insight and challenge needed to support business growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.Produce monthly management accounts, MI and Board packs.Deliver meaningful KPI reporting and performance analysis.Own cashflow forecasting and lender reporting.Build business cases and financial models to support strategic decisions.Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive performance improvements.Lead and develop the FP&A team.

About You

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).5+ years' FP&A experience, ideally within a PE-backed or high-growth environment.Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.Strong commercial mindset and stakeholder management experience.Proven ability to improve processes, reporting and controls.
