ButlerRose is delighted to be supporting one of our clients who's got a great opportunity for a Mixed Tax Semi Senior/Senior to join their them. The role will give you the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients.

Role Requirements -

Looking after a personal tax client portfolio of around 330 clients. This would involve preparing the personal tax returns and assisting with client queries and advice. They will have control of their client portfolio with input from the other seniors, manager and partner at busy times.Contacting HMRC to change tax codes, chase refunds, other ad hoc queries, etc.Reviewing corporation tax returns.Helping prepare P11Ds.Attending client meetings or phone calls with clients to go through their tax return and help with any queries they have.Preparing and submitting Capital Gains Tax returns.Registering Trusts on the Trust Registration Service.

Personal Requirements-

ATT, CTA Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience.Personal Tax Experience Essential.Clear written and oral communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts succinctly and accurately.Problem-solving abilities in order that you can deal with client queries and issues and satisfactorily resolve them, escalating queries where required.Ability to work productively under pressure and to very tight deadlines.Very organised, understands importance of responsiveness to clients, happy to stay behind and ensure tight deadlines are met.Self-confident, personable, and proactive, with the drive and ambition to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and the team.Attention to detail, ensuring that all work prepared is to a high standard.Candidate will be adaptable to change and will thrive on working autonomously. You will be required to prepare statutory accounts, complete statutory audits, prepare corporation tax returns as well as provide other professional advice.

Role Requirements:

Lead and complete statutory audits from planning through to finalisation.Prepare and review audit planning documents, risk assessments, and testing strategies.Conduct fieldwork, liaising with clients on-site and remotely.Draft audit reports and ensure compliance with auditing standards and firm procedures.Identify and communicate audit findings, technical issues, and opportunities for improvements.Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and relevant regulations.Prepare management accounts.Conduct bookkeeping and VAT returns.Prepare and review corporate tax computations.Staff Supervision & Development.Act as a key point of contact for clients during assignments.Build trusted client relationships by delivering reliable, efficient service.Identify additional service needs and flag opportunities to senior management.

Required Skills:
