Are you an experienced tax professional with a background in personal tax compliance and advisory, looking for the next step in your career? Butler Rose is proud to be working exclusively with an ambitious and tech-enabled accountancy practice to recruit a Senior Associate within their Private Client Tax team in Oxford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to go beyond the basics. In this role, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients, review returns prepared by junior team members, and contribute to advisory projects across Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and broader personal tax planning. You'll also have the opportunity to shadow and learn from tax managers and directors, giving you exposure to higher-level tax planning and real career development.
The ideal candidate will be ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or qualified by experience), with at least two years' background in accountancy and personal tax. A solid understanding of UK tax regulations is key, along with the confidence to build client relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Support the Corporate Services team, delivering exceptional audit and accounting services.Conduct audit assignments both on-site and remotely, handling technical audits and compliance work for corporate clients.Engage in ad hoc projects, remuneration planning, and VAT work.Review trainee assignments, providing guidance to support their growth.Build and manage client relationships, ensuring high standards in all deliverables.Participate in networking and business development to contribute to the firm's growth.Desired Skills & Experience
