The Role:This is a key, hands-on role within the business, working closely with the owner and wider team. Key Responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting

Managing cash flow and working capital
VAT returns and compliance reporting
Supporting year-end processes and liaising with external accountants
Continuous improvement of financial systems and processes
Ad-hoc analysis and project support as required
About You:Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or qualified by experience
Previous experience in a hands-on SME or family business environment desirable
Strong management accounts and commercial finance experience
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all areas of the business
Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working independently
Strong Excel and accounting software skills (Sage, Xero, or similar)
