The Role:
As Credit Controller, you'll play a key role in managing cash flow, reducing aged debt, and maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-moving environment. You'll take ownership of the sales ledger while working closely with internal teams to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively contact debtors via phone, email, and written communication to recover outstanding balancesMaintain regular communication with Sales Managers to review and reduce aged debtManage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring accurate customer and transaction recordsNegotiate payment terms and work to bring accounts back within agreed termsInvestigate and resolve customer queries and disputes efficientlyEnsure cash collection and debtor targets are consistently achievedEscalate overdue or high-risk accounts to senior stakeholders where necessaryHandle high-volume, fast-moving accounts across multiple payment channelsAllocate payments and manage inbox queries within agreed SLAsOpen new customer accounts and perform relevant checksProcess credit notes accurately and in a timely mannerProvide Sales teams with regular debt reporting and insightsSupport month-end, year-end processes, and audit requirementsIdentify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency within the sales ledger functionAbout You:
