Credit Control Manager Plymouth | Full-time | Competitive Salary + BenefitsButler Rose is pleased to be partnering with a thriving organisation undergoing continued expansion and success. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Credit Control Manager to join their head office team based in Plymouth.This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the credit control function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Management Accountants, you will play a key role in optimising revenue streams and leading projects centred around process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost-saving initiatives.Key Responsibilities:lead a small team to oversee the full credit control process from end to endLead the recovery of outstanding paymentsAssist with month-end billing and prepare supporting analysisReconcile debtor control accounts and intercompany balancesManage bad debt provisions and maximise supplier turnover rebatesAnalyse revenue from all operationsHandle and challenge credit card chargebacksOversee purchase ledger payments, payment terms, and supplier discountsContinuously review and improve internal processesDeliver monthly debtor analysis to senior managementSupport month-end routines and year-end audit preparationsUndertake other ad hoc duties as requiredAbout You:Proven experience in credit control, ideally within a commercial settingProficient Excel skillsHighly organised with excellent attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCapable of working to tight deadlines with precisionConfidence to challenge and enhance existing processesWhat's on Offer:Competitive salary packagePension schemeEmployee discountFlexible working arrangementsCycle to work schemeIf you're a proactive and results-driven finance professional looking to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
