Location: Exeter Central. Full-Time, Permanent

Hybrid Working Available

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000

Are you a driven finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a Part-Qualified/finalist Management Accountant to join a growing finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and decision-making support across the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a PQ Management Accountant, you'll work closely with senior finance staff and departmental managers to help deliver robust financial planning and performance analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment with study support and upwards progression provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysisSupport budgeting and forecasting processes.Produce financial reports for internal stakeholdersPerform balance sheet reconciliations and support year-end audit preparationIdentify process improvements and support implementation of new systems and controlsBusiness partnering with non-financial teams to explain financial data

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with at least 2-3 years' relevant experienceStrong Excel skills; experience with financial systems (sage preferred)Commercially aware, with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlinesA proactive and collaborative mindset
