A dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Colchester is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Business Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA professional seeking a client-facing role with a clear progression path toward management.
You'll be part of a collaborative and energetic team using the latest cloud accounting tools to deliver outstanding service to a diverse SME client base.
Role Responsibilities
Prepare management accounts and financial forecasts.Assist with tax compliance tasks across a varied portfolio.Support client managers with day-to-day portfolio management.Help clients transition to cloud-based accounting platforms.Supervise and mentor junior team members working toward their AAT, ACA or ACCA qualifications.Contribute to process improvements and the use of technology to enhance client service.Personal Requirements
ACA/ACCA qualified or nearing qualification.Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office and ideally Xero.Ability to interpret and analyse financial data effectively.A confident communicator who enjoys developing client relationships.Proactive and keen to embrace new systems and ways of working.Benefits
