Accounts Payable Assistant (Temporary up to 6 Months)

Hours: Full-time
Butler Rose is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in St Columb Major for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team on a temporary basis for up to six months.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of processing high volumes of transactions accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the accounts payable function, ensuring supplier invoices are processed correctly and payments are made on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing a high volume of supplier invoices with a high degree of accuracyMatching, batching and coding invoicesReconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepanciesHandling supplier queries in a professional and timely mannerAssisting with payment runsMaintaining accurate financial records and documentationSupporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as requiredAbout You:
Previous experience within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger roleComfortable working with high-volume transaction processingExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and time management skillsConfident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and colleaguesGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systemsAvailable to start at short notice would be advantageousWhat's on Offer:
