Butler Rose is delighted to be supporting our client, a highly successful PE backed professional services group with global presence, that as a result of significant income growth mainly via their M&A strategy, are now eager to appoint a senior tax professional with strong international corporate tax experience with a practical understanding of the treatment of Pillar 2 tax legislation.
Role requirements
Working closely with the Group CFO to centralise and 'in house' the existing tax work performed by external professional service tax firms in the various international territories in which the group operate.
To ensure the appropriate application, treatment, and process of Pillar 2 tax legislation across the group's international network of businesses.
Lead and advise on tax matters such as Country-by-country reporting, R&D tax claims, transfer pricing, VAT, and corporate tax filings.
Keeping abreast of legislative tax developments internationally and proactively assessing the impact on UK direct Tax affairs and Pillar 2 legislation.
Person Requirements
Significant corporate tax experience gained with exposure to international reporting.
Ideally ATT/CTA qualified although those that are ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience will be given equal consideration.
Practical experience/knowledge of applying and analysing Pillar 2 tax legislation would be advantageous.
