Salary: £55,000 - £70,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ACCA / ACA qualified Senior Client Manager to join a well-established and rapidly growing accountancy practice in Waterlooville as a manager.
This is a superb opportunity to lead a growing team as they start to expand and increase their client list. You will be ACCA / ACA qualified with at least 5 years' experience working in a similar Uk based accountancy practice.

About the role:

Our Senior Client Managers are focused on delivering an exceptional client experience. Their role is to lead a team who form trusting relationships with a portfolio of small business clients and ensure that their every accounting need is anticipated and provided for.

Requirements:

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A consultative personality and the confidence to liaise directly with clients.
* ACCA / ACA qualified with a minimum of 5 Years experience working in a similar UK based accountancy practice.
* Experience managing a team of junior accountant and client managers
* Experience managing a portfolio of varied clients, either within a team or independently.
* Comfortable and confident liaising directly with clients, both over the telephone and for face to face client meetings.
* Eligible to work in the UK.

Duties:

* To coach, train, develop and lead a team of4-5 direct reports.
* To support the Accountancy Manager with planning and monitoring the performance of the accountancy team's key performance measures e.g., weekly stats, timesheets etc.
* Provide leadership and role-modelled behaviour (to our company values) to the accountancy team.
* Perform relevant employees 1-2-1 meetings for a section of the accounting team & return to work interviews.
* To manage the process of (and where required, directly carry out) preparing, sending and submitting accounts & tax returns for a portfolio of clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
* Communicate with clients via phone, email, social media and in person, including chasing records.
* To ensure all internal and statutory deadlines are met e.g. - HMRC, SLA etTo onboard new clients and integrate them into your portfolio - this will include bookkeeping, compliance etc to then be handed over to the relevant department.
* Assess and advise clients on their tax position. To optimise and plan the tax efficiency of clients.
* Review and advise clients on an advisory level which may include cashflow, budgets, pricing etc and to prepare and conduct client year end meetings.
