My client, a valued not-for-profit organisation based in Witney are currently looking to recruit a Part-time Payroll Administrator to join them on an initial 3-month contract (21hrs per week). Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless payroll operations and providing invaluable support in various transactional functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and accurately input all relevant information to the payroll system
* Upkeep of employee personnel records and payroll files
* Maintain sickness records
* Assist with new starters payroll process
* Collate overtime, casual hours, sickness and holiday pay
* First point of contact for payroll related issues
* Process third-party deductions
* Support other areas of the finance team where necessary with transactional functions
Exposure to a payroll function is beneficial however not necessary, the client will consider people with administrative backgrounds who are wanting to make the move into a finance environment.
Attention to detail is key, you must display accuracy and organisational skills. As well as this you must have strong communication skills.
Hours of work are 21 per week and they are flexible on how these are worked (can be full days or reduced days over the week). You will also be able to work 1 day from home however will be 100% office based for the first few weeks due to training.
The office is highly accessible by public transport and free parking on site. Initially 3 months however there are always opportunities for further development.
