Due to continued expansion we are seeking to appoint an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a friendly, progressive and professional payroll team based in Rochdale. This role requires an experienced, capable full end to end payroll professional with previous expertise in a similar payroll position processing both small and high volume payrolls at multiple intervals on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis. Role ResponsibilitiesProcess multiple frequency payrolls on weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis via SAGE payrollPAYE, NI and RTI submissions and liaison with HMRCUndertake pensions and auto enrolmentDeal with starters/leavers P45/P46 & P60s and PAYEDeal with SSP/SMP/SPPDeal with maternity/paternity leave calculations, statutory payments/deductionsProcess payments to employees, pension providersPrepare and submit monthly/annual HMRC returnsDeal with payroll enquiries in an effective manner and provision of payroll reports upgradesPerson SpecificationPrevious experience within a similar full end to end payroll processing role dealing with multiple interval payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly basis in a fast moving payroll teamExpertise in running small and large volume payrolls end to end weekly/fortnightly and monthlyIdeally knowledge of SAGE payroll systemKnowledge of Sage/Xero or Quickbooks would be advantageous (training provided)Good attention to detail and be a confident communicator, both written and over the telephoneBe able to work on own initiative and be a team player.
