Responsibilities:

Supporting the finance team with day to day accounting tasksProcessing invoices, reconciling accounts, and handling expense claimsAssisting with month end reporting and financial analysisKeeping our financial systems and records up to date and accurateCollaborating across creative teams to ensure budgets and spend align

Candidate:

Previous experience in an accounts or finance roleA sharp eye for detail and a love for spreadsheetsProactive, organized, and eager to learnExcellent communication skills - you're confident working with both numbers and peopleIdeally working towards AAT or similar qualification (not essential)

Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid (1 day at home)

Butler Rose are partnering with a well known brand. Supporting them to find an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment. Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records.Handling accounts payable and receivable.Preparing bank reconciliations and supporting month-end procedures.Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.Managing and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Performing VAT returns.Liaising with internal departments to resolve any finance-related queries.Supporting with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required by the finance team.Managing supplier and customer accounts to ensure accuracy and timely payments.

Candidate Requirements:

AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent.2+ years of experience in an accounts assistant role within a corporate environment.Strong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and software.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
