We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected independent accountancy practice in Liverpool that works with a wide range of small and medium-sized businesses across sectors including property, manufacturing, professional services, retail, and specialist areas such as trusts and solicitor accounts.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING !!

Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies and sole traders under UK GAAP (including FRS 102, 1A & FRS 105)Drafting corporation tax computations (finalised by the in-house tax team)Preparing VAT returns and management accountsCarrying out bookkeeping and supporting clients with digital record-keeping under MTDGaining exposure to specialist entities such as trusts, pension schemes, and solicitorsLiaising directly with clients and assisting junior team members

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR !!

Minimum 3 years' experience in an accountancy practiceAAT qualified, near-qualified or early-stage ACCA studentSolid knowledge of UK accounting standardsExperience with Xero and TaxCalc is a bonus but not essentialA confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
