Senior Finance Administrator
Location: Plymouth
Salary: £28,000-£30,000
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take on a senior-level administrative role, providing oversight, guidance, and support across key finance processes.

The Role

As Senior Finance Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of core finance operations. Acting as an escalation point for complex queries, you will support the wider finance team while helping to drive process improvements and maintain high standards across systems and reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee invoice processing to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality outputInvestigate and resolve complex invoice discrepancies and queriesSupport and review bank payments, ensuring adherence to approval controlsProvide oversight of bank reconciliations and escalate any anomaliesAct as the escalation point for complex finance-related queriesSupport and guide Finance Administrators in resolving issues effectivelyMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer and supplier account recordsEnsure data integrity across finance systemsPrepare KPI reports, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvementAssist with month-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and outputs are accurateAbout YouProven experience in a finance administration or similar role, ideally at a senior levelStrong understanding of transactional finance processes and controlsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracyConfident communicator with the ability to support and guide colleaguesStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to take on a senior, influential role within the finance functionSupportive and collaborative working cultureCareer progression within a growing organisation
