Personal Tax Manager - Manchester City Centre

Up to £60,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

We are recruiting for a Personal Tax Manager to join a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients and provide high-quality advisory and compliance services.

The Role:

Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and trusts.Oversee the preparation and review of personal tax returns, trust returns, and inheritance tax accounts.Provide tax planning advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, international tax, and trusts.Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients and manage compliance matters.Mentor and support junior tax team members.Stay up to date with tax legislation and manage WIP and billing processes.

What we're looking for:

ATT/CTA/STEP qualified or equivalent experienceAt least five years' experience in professional practiceStrong technical knowledge of UK personal tax, including CGT, IHT, and residence rulesExperience managing client relationships and tax portfoliosAbility to mentor junior staff and review workExcellent communication and organisational skills
