They provide a wide range of business services to organisations and individuals throughout the North of England.

They have seen dramatic growth plans in recent years and as a result of this growth, they are now looking for a Corporate Tax Assistant Advisory Manager/ Manager to join their existing team in their Burnley office.

This is a full time role across a 37.5 hour week.

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a busy Corporate Tax Advisory team.

-As a dynamic Tax Advisory Assistant Manager, you will work closely with their regional Head of Tax, Partners, Directors, and team members to provide tax advisory services to a varied, corporate client base.

-You will focus a large part of your time in supporting and leading the team to deliver tax advisory services to existing and new corporate clients.

-You will assist in managing the tax team by hearing the voice of your team members, conducting appraisals, providing coaching and mentoring to support their development. As part of your own development you will establish strong working relationships with your own portfolio of clients through assignments and regular contact, including attending client meetings.

As you will be a key member of the team, previous tax experience within practice is essential, however we will consider candidates coming from a compliance or advisory background- or a mix of both.

We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge, the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislation, manage complex projects and help up-skill the tax team.

CTA/ ACA/ ACCA (or equivalent) qualifiedOur clients come from all industries, so exposure to multiple sectors would be a distinct advantagePrevious Corporate Tax in a similar role within a practice environment is essentialStrong technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislationOrganisation skills and a desire to learn are also important
