Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client a medium size firm based in Birmingham. This role is ideal for someone who is a part-qualified accountant and looking to progress their career in a supportive and client-focused environment. You will work closely with audit seniors and managers to deliver high-quality audits for a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors.

Role Requirements -

Assist in planning, performing, and completing statutory audits for a range of clients.Prepare audit fieldwork, including testing and analysis of financial statements.Identify audit issues and recommend solutions under supervision.Work closely with clients, developing positive working relationships and maintaining high levels of service.Draft clear and concise working papers and audit reports.Liaise with other departments (e.g., accounts, tax) where appropriate.Support the audit team in meeting deadlines and ensuring compliance with professional standards and internal procedures.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Personal Requirements -

Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent).At least 3 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice, with exposure to audit assignments.Good understanding of compliance and regulation with specific knowledge of FRS102 and Financial Reporting Standards.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills.Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
