Butler Rose is pleased to be recruiting a management accountant for a successful business in the East Devon. This is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract and will provide support to the finance team and wider business in an exciting period of change. This is a hybrid working role.

Key duties will include:

Managing and mentoring the finance team and leading the day-to-day accounting functionSupervising the preparation of monthly trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet and analysis notes, along with the preparation of weekly cashflow projections.Working collaboratively with other key areas of the business to define, improve and implement processes to achieve improvements.Assisting with a new business integration, including financial processes, controls and systems.Assisting with the preparation of the business budgets and forecasts (annual budget, quarterly forecasts).Ownership and improvement of the financial control framework and processes.Assisting with the statutory audit process and tax compliance & control processes (VAT and corporation tax).

The successful candidate with ideally be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), although those who are QBE or part-qualified with demonstrable experience will also be considered.
