Butler Rose is delighted to be working with a leading wholesale business based in Exeter, who are currently seeking a commercially minded and analytically driven Product Analyst to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on turning data into actionable insights, enjoys taking ownership, and wants to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a product range, supporting pricing strategy, and identifying growth opportunities through deep market analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the performance and management of a diverse product rangeAnalyse product performance and market trends to inform strategic decisionsLead product decision-making across the group and support life cycle managementAssist the pricing team in setting product prices and maintaining margin controlConduct market and competitor research to stay ahead of industry movementsUse market intelligence to identify new opportunities and react swiftly to changesDrive marketing communications for product introductions, enhancements, and withdrawalsEnsure product compliance and governance standards are upheldCollaborate cross-functionally to meet agreed objectives and time linesManage time effectively across projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in a product management or product analyst roleThe ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholdersExceptional attention to detail with strong data interpretation and reporting skillsSolid time management and organisational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelA proactive, team-oriented attitudeWillingness to travel when required
