Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take the lead in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Manager to join a well-established business near Yeovil, playing a key role in driving the people agenda on site.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll manage the day-to-day HR function while supporting long-term business goals through effective people strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic, high-performing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all on-site HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and policy implementationUndertake all aspects of RecruitmentProvide expert guidance and support to line managers across the full employee lifecycleMonitoring attendance, sickness & general employee performance Lead HR initiatives focused on engagement, retention, and continuous improvementSupport health and wellbeing programmes, learning & development, and succession planningEnsure HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislationPreparation of weekly payrollsMaintain accurate HR records and reporting using the company's HR systemsWhat We're Looking For:
Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial settingStrong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practicesConfident communicator with the ability to influence and build trust at all levelsSolution-focused, with a practical approach and a willingness to get stuck inCIPD Level 5 - CIPD Level 7 preferredWhy Join?
