Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Financial Accountant for a successful and reputable business based in Exeter. This is a fixed-term contract role for 12 months.

Reporting into the senior finance team, this is a very important role for the organisation and responsibilities will include:

Review of financial controls and processes to maximise efficiency and productivityDevelopment of process documentation, in line with compliance and best practiceWork with other stakeholders in finance and non-finance in a business partnering capacityAssist with ERP system implementation, ensuring smooth integration and identifying any areas for improvementRegular testing of financial systems and provide training to finance team on any updatesWork closely with external auditors, ensuring evidence for any changes made to controlsAdherence to regulatory compliance at all times

The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You will have a strong understanding of financial processes and internal controls, and a pro-active mindset.
