£55,000 to £65,000

Butler Rose are delighted to be supporting our client a highly prestigious, prominent and nationally based firm with fantastic offices based conveniently in the heart of the historic City of St Albans that are eager to recruit a highly skilled and well qualified accounting professional in a Manager level capacity.

This role will take full responsibility for a diverse portfolio of SME clients spanning a varied range of industries to include managing, and reviewing the work of a small team, and developing existing and new clients.

Role Requirements -

Manage your own portfolio of clients to include staff planning, management of WIP and billingBuild and further develop client relationships with existing and new clientsPresent for partner review, complete files to a high standardAct as the main point of contact for compliance queries from clients within portfolioQuote and estimate fees within your level of authorityMeeting clients to pitch and tender for new work and putting together associated documentsBusiness development - attend new client meetings and networking eventsGood awareness of cloud-based accounting techniques and systemsEffectively delegate work to, and mentor, the teamProvide feedback to junior and senior team members of quality of work/performance

Person Requirements -

ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience gained working for a prominent UK based firm in a supervisory or manager level position taking responsibility for a client portfolio and servicing their accounting and taxation requirements.Proven experience of managing, coaching and reviewing the work of a teamStrong commercial approach to business and confidence in developing existing as well as prospective clients.
