Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a national award-winning Top 100 firm that are now in a position to offer to market a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and skilled accounts and audit professional to join the firm in the capacity of Senior Manager or Director.
Role Requirements -
This role will occupy a pivotal position at the firm's London office where the post holder will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of mainly OMB audit and non-audit clients.
As well as taking the lead in the delivery of a range of audit and accounting services to the existing client base, this role will involve an element of business development both with existing and prospective clients.
Person Requirements -
ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience working for a prominent UK based Top 100 firm in a multi-faceted Accounts and Audit position at a Senior Manager or Director level.
Proven acumen of effectively managing a client portfolio as well as developing existing and new business.
Track record of supervising/managing staff and mentoring them on their career journey.
Commercially minded, and technically strong leader who thrives on autonomy and influence.

Support the Corporate Services team, delivering exceptional audit and accounting services.Conduct audit assignments both on-site and remotely, handling technical audits and compliance work for corporate clients.Engage in ad hoc projects, remuneration planning, and VAT work.Review trainee assignments, providing guidance to support their growth.Build and manage client relationships, ensuring high standards in all deliverables.Participate in networking and business development to contribute to the firm's growth.Desired Skills & Experience
ACA or ACCA Qualified with at least 2 years of experience in a practice environment.Strong knowledge of taxes, accounts preparation, and cloud-based accounting software, particularly Xero, CCH etc.Analytical skills to quickly resolve issues and proactively identify opportunities for clients.An approachable personality, with excellent communication and the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues.The firm's ethos is rooted in supporting their people through flexibility, training, and comprehensive benefits, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and growth.
