ABOUT THE JOB

The role will be client facing and split between the delivery of personal and corporate tax planning and advisory projects, compliance services and business development. As Associate Tax Director a summary of duties are as follows:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead advisory work for a significant portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, including tax compliance and planning projectsBuild trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solvingOversee the tax team members, including work-flow management, reviewing work, and providing trainingInterpret changes to taxation legislation and provide trusted advisory to clients and colleagues.Support business development strategies, including preparing proposals, actively seeking out opportunities, and assisting with marketing initiativesStrong client handling, managerial skills and a good detailed up to date working knowledge of corporate taxation matters/ issuesA growing network and the tenacity to continue to grow your network and help to develop and take on new opportunitiesA team player who can also work independently and with both more senior and junior team membersEstablish credibility at all levels, be commercially minded and have a clear perception of client requirements.Experience with international tax advice would also be helpful

PERSON SPECIFICATION

To be considered for the role of Associate Director, it is expected that you will meet the following criteria as follows:

Qualified in either ACA, ATT or CTAExperience in Corporate Tax compliance and advisory workExperience as Corporate Tax Manager, in a large or medium sized accountancy practice in a specialist tax roleYou will be ambitious as we see this role as a stepping-stone for career development within our business.Professional client facing demeanorAdaptable, hard-working and willing to work as part of a teamHighly efficient, meticulous with great attention to detailAbility to work to deadlines and under pressure at timesPositive attitude, ability to work flexibly and committed team playerAbility to maintain confidentiality
