Accounts Payable - Chester area
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing finance team based in the Chester area. Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage invoices accurately and on timeReconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepanciesEnsure timely payment of suppliers, adhering to agreed payment termsHandle queries from suppliers and internal stakeholdersMaintain accurate records of all financial transactionsAssist with month-end procedures and reportingEnsure compliance with company policies and proceduresSupport the finance team with ad hoc duties as required

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in an accounts payable role is preferredStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsGood working knowledge of accounting software (experience with SAP, Excel, or similar is an advantage)Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasksA proactive approach and willingness to learn
