Job description
My client is a well-established Exeter business. Due to a recent change in management they have created a new Operations Coordinator role, to be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the warehouse and purchasing functions for the company.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Management of the day to day operations of a busy warehouse function
• Overseeing personnel and processes of the distribution side of the business
• Forming relationships with suppliers
• Monitoring stock levels and purchasing stock when required
• Ensuring the stock control system is kept up to date
• Unpacking of goods and storage in appropriate locations

To be chosen for the role:

• Previous warehouse and/or logistics experience
• Team management experience
• IT experience with prior ERP and WMS systems an advantage
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
• Excellent organisational skills and high level of initiative
• Strong communication skills
