Job description
Butler Rose is working on an exclusive basis to recruit a management accountant for a dynamic organisation based in near Bude.Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be working in a small finance team, producing financial information to support the wider business.
Key duties will include:
• Production of monthly management accounts
• Oversight of the full month-end process
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Reviewing budgets and re-forecasting where required
• Management of quarterly stock re-evaluation process
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Assisting with external audit
• Dealing with key supplier invoices
• Use of the company’s ERP system
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with good technical skills and a pro-active attitude. The role has scope to progress into a line management position so it would fit a progressive candidate looking to make a positive impact. For the right candidate, this role could suit a first time practice mover as well as someone already working in industry.
