Client Accounting Manager – Fareham £42-52kA brand-new opportunity for an ACA or ACCA Qualified Manager has arisen to join a rapidly expanding modern financial services business based in their Fareham offices. This managerial role will be responsible for a growing team and a portfolio of depositary clients.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day client relationships for a portfolio of depositary clients to ensure that high levels of service are delivered
• Review the depositary checklist output delivered by a small team of direct reports to ensure that all relevant operating procedures, policies and professional guidelines are being adhered to
• Monitoring the operational and financial performance of the team
• Assist in building the depositary service offering, to include some business development and new client take-on activities
Skills required:
The role would suit a fully qualified and technically sound candidate ideally with an audit or compliance background (ACA, or ACCA) or with fund accountancy/ fund administration experience alongside team management experience.
We are also seeking someone with experience of managing several client relationships or a significant part of a major client relationship. Candidates should have an eye for detail and a good degree of initiative with an ability to provide commercial, risk sensitive solutions for clients and a willingness to read and interpret domestic and EU regulations and legislation is desirable.
Candidates should be highly professional and driven with strong career aspirations. Language skills are a plus but not essential.
