Job description
We are delighted to be assisting one of our key clients with their recruitment of a Finance Partner on a 6 month fixed term contract working in Central London.
The purpose of this role is to provide value added challenge, insight and analysis to all central function Leadership Teams, the Operating Groups and the teams, including but not limited to Commercial, Digital and Admissions performance, including the design and delivery of insightful reporting and ad-hoc projects, investment appraisal and analysis.

KEY OBJECTIVES
• Provide insight and challenge to help ensure IT capital is best utilised
• Manage, track and assess the recovery of Project Management resource against financial plans

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

INSIGHTFUL REPORTING
• Provide financial support to IT project managers, PMO team, Programme Leads and CTO by highlighting risks and opportunities and monitoring capital expenditure

SUPPORT BUSINESS PROCESSES
• Budget – review of each submission, highlight movements, liaise with attractions, feed into review process, provide additional analysis/insight as required
• Business Plan – review of each submission, highlight movements, liaison with attractions, feed into review process, provide additional analysis/insight
• Weekly PMO Reviews – oversight of program updates and provide recommendations to PMO and CTO as required dependent on agenda
• Exec Board and Development Board updates – analysis as required dependent on agenda

DELIVER COMMERCIAL INSIGHT AND CHALLENGE, including but not limited to:
• Business case development for new systems

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• 1yr+ Qualified accountant with experience of working on capital projects desirable including implementation of Group Finance Policy relating to Intangible assets and fixed asset register accounting
• A good level of personal impact, confidence and credibility including evidence of developing stakeholder relationships and of influencing and challenging senior staff
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to a variety of individuals
• Requires outstanding financial analysis skills and familiarity with building insightful reports
• Good personal organisation and time management skills
• Able to deal with senior stakeholders
• Ability to be flexible – thinking outside of the box, not being confined to what has always been done, open to considering a number of possibilities
• Ability to self-manage
• Advanced Excel skills (ability to understand and build complex models)
• Familiarity with Hyperion or equivalent reporting system is desirable
