The Company Overview:

Butler Rose are proud to be working alongside a prestigious and expanding business in the Chorley area. This organisation are industry experts and extremely passionate about providing niche products to their customers nationwide. They now seek to hire a Credit Controller on a temporary to permanent basis.

Your new role as the Credit Controller:

• Driving cash flow targets by strong portfolio management and relationship building
• Working with relevant client partners and divisions to achieve KPIs where applicable
• Resolving customer receivable issues and disputes
• Developing excellent relationships with key contacts within organisations
• Full day to day management of assigned portfolio by accurate codification, collections comments and dispute identification
• Ensuring appropriate prioritisation techniques and timely follow up on all outstanding debts
• Using imagination and clear thinking techniques to improve processes and deliver excellent service
• Working as part of a team to ensure additional credit control tasks are undertaken
• Driving recommendations of referral for further action when full collections techniques are exhausted to recover bad debts
• Attending finance meetings

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

The successful Candidate shall have at least 2 years experience in Credit Control. You will have demonstrated the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced dynamic environment, demonstrating success at reducing aged debts. In addition you will have the following abilities and skill set:

• Successfully manage multiple tasks and prioritise
• Strong time management and demonstrate experience in meeting deadlines and targets
• Proactive / self starter with positive can do attitude
• Attention to detail and capable of delivering high quality work
• Change orientation approach to role
• Excellent interpersonal and team work skills, cultivating long term relationships at all levels
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Be customer focussed
• Good telephone manner, proficient in telephone cash collection techniques
• Professional and confident persona
• Flexible approach to working hours
