Butler Rose is currently working with a reputable business in the search for an IT Service Desk Analyst/Tester, based in Bicester. This is a 12 week contract so you will need to be immediately available to start.As the IT Service Desk Analyst/ Tester you will be working with the internal service desk team supporting with 1st and 2nd line support and ensuring that the Wi-Fi optimisation is at full potential.
Key duties:
• Responsible for handling all communication for the business via telephone, email and onsite visits.
• Perform first line resolution by undertaking initial diagnosis, categorisation and prioritization of all incidents
• Monitor ticket queues to ensure all tickets are updated within the defined SLA
• Support with UAT Wi-Fi testing
• Collect data on the Wi-Fi’s performance
• Setting up Devices such as Mac laptops/ Mobiles across the business
• Build Kits to set up around the organisation
• Check the Output of the Wi-Fi throughout the business
The successful candidate will be personable, with the ability to adapt communication styles. They will need to act swiftly and decisively to ensure you handle incidents and problem with efficacy and accuracy. They will hold experience of working within an IT Service Desk position with extensive knowledge in Wi-Fi optimisation with desirable skills in ITIL V3 qualified to foundation level or MCITP.
