Job description
Butler Rose is currently working in partnership with a reputable organisation based in the Milton Keynes area for a Salaries Clerk on a 3 months contract with an immediate start.

Key duties:

• Add new starters to the consultancy payroll, input tax, NI and Pension elements, ensure new starter tax codes are input
• Correct and raise and issue forms such as P45 and other leaver documentation
• Resolve all queries related to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), with Maternity, Paternity and Adoption leave – Liaising with multiple organisations to check documentation and process any payments
• Updating any bank details, pension changes and resolving queries
• Calculate gross amounts and estimate for advances
• Complete control documentation
• Complete pay requisition to effect net payment to the individual,
• Set up payments using banking software
• Prepare journal’s if debt outstanding and raise and issue debtors letters
• Liaise with the HMRC over employee taxation issues and provide taxation advice to employees


• SAP Payroll experience
• IPP Study – Desirable
• Proficient Excel user, Word, Outlook and the internet
