Payroll & HR Administrator

Salary: £23000

Location: Bournemouth

Butler Rose is proud to be supporting one of Bournemouth’s leading businesses in their recruitment for a Payroll & HR Administrator. Working for a well known brand you will be a key member of the finance and HR team.


• To support the accurate and timely running of the company’s monthly payroll and associated payroll activities.
• To be responsible for the production and delivery of regular quantitative management information using data from various systems; reports may be regular monthly reports or ad hoc as requested.
• As part of the HR Operations team, to assist with other HR related activities leading to the provision of an effective HR service to the Company.


• Monthly Payroll
• Monthly after payroll auto enrolment activities
• Salary Review and bonus schemes
• Monthly and year end reconciliation
• Produce MI reports


• Payroll admin
• Payroll input both input both manual and via electronic data transfer
• Experience of using a payroll system, ideally SD Worx (Ceredian)
• Knowledge of the UK tax framework at it relates to PAYE
• Experience of extracting data from systems for reporting; Also of devising and formatting reports using numerical data to provide MI.

• Calm in the face of competing demands and able to project a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Resilient and able to work effectively under pressure of deadlines.
