Job description
Butler Rose is working alongside our top FTSE250 Facilities Management client based in Northampton in their search for a Senior Energy Billing Analyst to join their fast-paced team. This is a contract role up until February 2025 with possible contract extension and will pay £144 a day PAYE to the successful candidate.
The Senior Analyst will report to the Billing Analyst Team Leader and be responsible for the management of several key Bureau functions and the delivery of all contracted reporting including query resolution.
Responsibilities:
* Leading role in supporting a clean exit from incumbent supplier, and smooth entry into new.
* Maximising claims requiring good quality evidence.
* Organising queries effectively.
* Ensuring supplier calculates final billing correctly.
* Overall responsibility for the final completion and issuing of authorisation reports and resolution of all queries relating to the invoice validation process as well as general billing and supplier queries.
* Operation of defined Bureau processes, including database administration and query resolution.
* Run invoice authorisation validation reports and highlight potential discrepancies where required.
* Create and maintain all Excel based reporting templates.
* Responsible for ensuring all contracted deliverables are produced for the customer by working with several Billing Analysts.
Knowledge Skills & Experience:
* Strong organisation skills
* Experience in Energy sector
* Strong communication and analytical skills and be able to liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve technical queries.
* Ability to work as part of a group or individually.
* Ability to work to deadlines and use initiative to solve problems.
* IT literate with experience of use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.
* Finance experience preferred.
