Top 20 Firm, London
£60,000 - £70,000
We are currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager in Pensions to join a fantastic Top 20 firms team. As an Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing the pension audit process for our clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment, has a strong background in accounting, and possesses excellent leadership and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the entire pension auditing process, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Conduct in-depth reviews of clients pension plans, including financial statements, risk assessments, and internal controls.
Develop and implement audit procedures in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
Coach and mentor team members, providing guidance and support in developing their audit skills.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.
Prepare and present audit findings to clients, offering recommendations for improvement and risk mitigation.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, specifically in the pensions industry.
Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field. ACA/ACCA/CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.
Strong knowledge of applicable accounting regulations and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
Previous experience managing audit engagements and leading a team.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Proficient in using audit software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
