Part time Bookkeeper (22-25 hours per week)
Alton, Hampshire
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 (full time equivalent)

Butler Rose Public Practice are pleased to announce a rare opportunity that is now available for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established accountancy practice on a part time basis.
Working within a friendly and supportive accountancy team, you will provide a full bookkeeping service for a small portfolio of diverse clients. Your clients will include limited companies, sole traders, and partnership, and will be made up of local, modern and high net worth companies.
You will need previous experience working as an all-round Bookkeeper for an accountancy practice as well as excellent communication skills, and a good eye for detail.

Duties & requirements:

* 2+ years of solid Bookkeeping experience from a similar accountancy practice.
* Ability to take source documents through to initial trial balance.
* Knowledge of CIS returns would be beneficial but not essential.
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns, dealing with HMRC queries.
* Bank and card reconciliations, posting of depreciation, prepayments, and accruals.
* Experience using Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage would be ideal but not essential.
